About Andrea

Andrea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive clinical experience working with co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders.  She is currently in private practice providing individual and family psychotherapy in both New York City and Garden City, Long Island.

Andrea's clinical experience comes from previous work in both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs for addictions and co-occurring disorders. Prior to starting private practice, Andrea held multiple roles at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's young adult outpatient program in New York City, including Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Lead, and Primary Clinician. She also worked as a primary counselor at Inter-Care, LTD., another outpatient treatment agency in New York City. Her inpatient clinical experience includes being a Primary Therapist in Sierra Tucson's Addiction Recovery and Co-Occurring Disorders program in Tucson, Arizona. 

Andrea has completed post graduate intensive group psychotherapy training at Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society (EGPS). She has completed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level One. Andrea is currently teaching a post graduate addictions course at Adelphi University in Manhattan. Andrea graduated with her Master's in Social Work from Arizona State University.
